MISSED LESSONS GUIDE for Mad Hatter Music
First and foremost, we LOVE having you in lessons! Now, we know there may be times you have to miss a class, and that's okay. But please remember:
Your monthly payment reserves you a permanent spot in our weekly schedule. Even if you cannot attend your reserved spot, it is still yours.
Mad Hatter Music is under no obligation to reschedule a lesson that you miss, regardless of the reason.
THAT BEING SAID ...
If you ever miss a class and feel like your child could use a little extra help, here's an option we do offer:
- If your child misses a class, you have the option to create a short video of your child's progress that week, and email it to us.

The teacher can then reply via email, with advice
You can send multiple videos throughout the week. We are here to support you!
Is your child sick?
Lastly, If your child arrives at music lessons and is SICK, Mad Hatter Music has the right to refuse the lesson and send them home immediately. If the teacher must send a student home early due to student sickness, a video lesson will not be arranged.
Basically, please don't send sick kids to lessons! The other kids in the class and your teacher will be very grateful that you stayed home and got better first ♥
